'Net Neutrality Reaches Tipping Point' 04-27-2006
Wendy Davis, a columnist for MediaPost Publications, writes under that headline today that net neutrality has tipped.
Where's the evidence?
Okay. When net neutrality is served up with the canapes, it's tipping.
Wendy concludes: "Of course, it makes sense that consumers don't like the idea that Internet service providers might slow down access to their favorite sites--particularly since consumers already pay a monthly fee for home access. For Internet service companies to even mull the prospect of hindering, or blocking, access to popular sites--like Google--shows just how out of touch the access companies are with their consumers."
